Reminiscence Therapy Library Kits

The Betsie Valley District Library is now offering Reminiscence Therapy Library Packs, (Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring), each kit includes a DVD and Photo/Activity Cards.

This new collection of materials is oriented specifically toward dementia patients. These four unique Memory Care Kits are designed to trigger special memories of life experiences and encourage interaction between patients and caregivers.

Each of the kits, contains a DVD, Photo cards and activity cards. Each kit has a different theme, including Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
The kits can be checked out for two weeks.

Spring:
DVD includes segments on Flowers, Butterflies and Moths, Birds, Animal Babies, and Bonus Video: Easter.

Summer:
