Betsie Valley District Library

Lending Library

We offer an extensive collection of books, DVDs, audiobooks, large print books, local newspapers, and magazines.

The library is open to the public six days per week- Monday through Saturday. A library card is necessary to borrow materials, and everyone with a home address is eligible for a card. To apply for a library card, please present your driver's license & proof of residence address.

Our collection includes over 9,000 items for children and adults including books, large print, audio books, and DVDs.  The library is a participating MelCat library, which offers a statewide interlibrary loan program to help meet all your information needs.  The loan period is three weeks for most materials, and one week for DVDs.

Visiting Patrons from libraries participating in the MeLCat Visiting Patron option may also borrow library materials from our Library!
