Cat in the Hat Reading Challenge
You have been invited to take the Betsie Valley District Library “Cat in the Hat” March Reading Challenge! Preschoolers to 3rd Grade read ten books through March and 4th grade and up read up to 3 chapter books through March, and you will receive your certificate, bookmark, and pencil! Beginning readers can be read to! Stop into the Library to pick up your reading log! Remember to come and celebrate at our “Cat in the Hat” Celebration! March 25, 2023, 1-2PM. Remember, "oh the places you'll go when you read a great book!"

Betsie Valley District Library Board Meetings
The Library Board meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00PM. All are welcome to attend. If the weather is inclement and the local Benzie Schools are closed, the Board meeting will be cancelled and rescheduled with the new date posted at the front door of the Library and published on the Library website and Facebook page. During the pandemic, the Library Board meetings may be held remotely. Please contact Librarian Director Michelle Guerra at 231-378-2716 or by emailing bvdlibrary@acegroup.cc for information on how to attend the meeting.
