Sign up starts June 4, 2022 and will run through August 31, 2022.
***Come into the Library to pick up your registration slip and reading log! The Library is located at 14744 Thompson Ave., Thompsonville. 
We can mail you one, too-just call us! 

You can also register by emailing us at Contact Us and please include in your email message your Parent/Guardian Name, Your Name, Address, Age, Grade, School, and request the Child's Reading Log or Tween/Teen Reading Log. We will mail it to you!

***We challenge you to explore the Oceans of Possibilities this summer!!
Read 2 hours each week, mark or color the pictures on your log for that week, Color or circle each picture for every
half-hour that you read! Read whatever is interesting to you! CHALLENGE YOURSELF! Read each week toward completing your Reading Challenge! ALSO, YOU CAN CHECK OUT A STEM KIT WHICH CAN COUNT TOWARDS ONE HOUR OF READING!
Beginning readers can have a parent or big brother or sister read to them! We want you to enjoy reading all summer!
At the end of summer, you can bring in your completed reading log by August 31, 2022 to earn a reading certificate, a book bag with goodies, and $10.00 gift certificate to buy your own books! Also, all readers who complete the challenge will be put into a drawing for extra prizes!

June 18, 2022, 10AM Nature Discovery: Michigan Snakes Alive!
Join us as Jim and Carol McGrath teach us about Michigan snakes! Afterword, audience members can touch and handle these fascinating creatures! The program will be held at the park by the Thompsonville Fire Hall & Community Center,14714 Lincoln Ave. Thompsonville, MI 49683

Story and Activity Hour with Marvin T. Moose and your Lovable Librarians will run June 15, 2022 to August 3, 2022,
Wednesdays, 11AM to 12PM, at the Library!

We will have a Story Hour every week at the Library, where you can enjoy stories, crafts and a snack! Remember you can still see our past story hours on Facebook and on the Library's youtube channel!

6/22/2022: Shark Tales!
We’ll enjoy awesome shark stories and make a sharky craft!

6/29/2022: Under the Sea! We’ll listen to some "seasational" stories  and make our own pet socktupus out of a sock!

7/6/2022: A Whale of a Tale! We ‘ll listen to "whale of a tale" stories and make a whale hat and have a whale song parade down Thompson Avenue!

7/20/2022: Fantastic Beasts of the Sea! We ‘ll enjoy serpent stories and make our own sea monster! 

7/27/2022: Tales from Across the Ocean! We’ll share stories from our friends across the ocean and make our own crabby hatties!

8/3/2022: Walruses, Seals, and Penguins...OH MY! We’ll listen to stories of amazing creatures who have adapted to sea life and make our own walrus masks!

8/10/2022: We Love Our Oceans: We’ll learn about helping our ocean friends and we will make a jellyfish lantern!

***Read with Skye and Naomi! These super-duper friends will be visiting the Library on the second Wednesday of the month from 4-5PM! Come and read a favorite book from home or pick one out at the Library to read to them! They would love to see you!
